Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, time spent on pages, approximate location (city or country level) and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described below.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and the Site does not currently offer comments, user accounts or giveaways.

03How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Operate, maintain and improve the Site and our content
  • Respond to your messages, questions, corrections and partnership inquiries

  • Protect the Site against spam, fraud and security issues, and comply with legal obligations

04Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, deliver and measure ads, and attribute affiliate sales.

  • Essential cookies help the Site load and function properly.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site.
  • Advertising cookies are used by ad partners to show relevant ads, limit how often you see an ad and measure results.
  • Affiliate cookies record when you click an affiliate link so the retailer can credit us for a purchase.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. Learn more in our Cookie Policy.

05Advertising

MenCraftCo is free to read and is supported by advertising. We may work with third-party advertising companies and ad networks, including Google, to display ads on the Site. These companies may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites, such as your IP address, browser type and pages viewed, in order to provide ads about goods and services that may interest you and to measure ad performance.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Opt out of personalized advertising:

Opting out means you may still see ads, but they will be less tailored to you.

When we join an advertising network, we will update this section with any additional information that network requires us to disclose.

06Affiliate links

Some of our guides contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer or affiliate network may use cookies or tracking links to record the referral, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These companies process data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment details from these purchases.
